Tremors measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale were felt in parts of Shangla and district headquarters of Alpuri, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the early hours of Thursday.
No loss of life or property was reported.
The earthquake stirred panic among the locals, who came out on streets.
Mild tremors were felt in Alpuri, Besham, Kalorah and Shahpur sub-divisions.
Pakistan Metrological Department said that the quake’s epicenter was in Pattan, at least 31 kilometers under the earth.
