  • Tamachani Police in Sukkur book two-year-old boy in a terrorism case, say child was involved in land grabbing and demanded Rs 2m extortion money

 

 

The police registered a terrorism case against a two-year-old child and produced him in the Anti-Terrorism Court in Sukkur on Thursday.

A case with terrorism charges has been registered against two-year-old Asad Mahar, a resident of Dareha Village, at Tamachani Police Station.

According to police, the child was involved in land grabbing and has demanded Rs 2 million for returning back the piece of the land.

The court granted bail to the child on cash bond. The child’s father Arshad said that the police registered the case against his son on instigation of an influential person of their village.

The father has called the attention of the police high-ups towards the matter.
