Two policemen were gunned down near Mominabad area of Karachi on Wednesday.
The incident occurred near Mominabad Police Station in OrangiTown where men carrying sophisticated weapons opened fire on a police van. As a result, two cops died on the spot. The attackers fled from the scene. The deceased cops were identified as Iqbal and Hafeez.
Previously, terrorists had launched two grenade attacks on the police station, but no loss of life was reported. Five cops have fallen prey to terrorist attacks in a week in OrangiTown.
