ISLAMABAD-
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said Pakistan looks forward to work with India in harmony to resolve all unsettled issues for the benefit of both nations through dialogue.
In a letter to his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, he said it is his earnest hope that their endeavours will lay the foundations for a much brighter future of the region.
The prime minister said millions of people are living in poverty in both the countries, who deserve our foremost attention to improve their conditions. He said in many ways their future is integrated with our common economic destiny and our concerted efforts can lead to their welfare and prosperity.
Nawaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over his recent visit to New Delhi and his meaningful talks with Narendra Modi on matters of bilateral and regional interest hoping that the meeting will help open new avenues for moving forwards resolution of outstanding issues.
He expressed gratitude to the Indian Prime Minister for extending generous hospitality during his visit in the enduring sub-continental traditions.
