Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) chief Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao on Wednesday said talks are the only way to eradicate terrorism.
Talking to reporters outside Parliament House on Wednesday, Aftab Sherpao said that masses are fed up with the military operations,
terror attacks, lawlessness and they wanted restoration of peace at all costs.
He said that terrorism and extremism have adversely affected the economy of the country. Sherpao said that the All Parties Conference had given mandate to the government to hold peace talks with the banned terrorist outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), but it did not take the political stakeholders into confidence.
The QWP chief also showed concerns over the terrorist attack on Karachi airport and said that it exposed the security lapse besides hurting the country’s image abroad.
