ISLAMABAD-
The Cabinet Committee on National Security held an emergency meeting on Tuesday, headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, a private news channel reported.
High-level government and military officials including Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif were present at the meeting.
The meeting was announced shortly after June 08’s (Sunday) terrorist attack on Karachi Airport to discuss the current national security situation.
