ISLAMABAD-
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has asked 53,814 successful Hajj applicants under the government scheme to submit their machine-readable passports by Tuesday through their respective banks for further process.
The passports must be valid up to March 31, 2015.
After receiving documents, the ministry will issue Hajj flight schedule and initiate the process of stamping of visas.
Officials of the ministry said the government has brought down Hajj expenses to Rs 250,000 per person. The excess amount received along with the applications will be refunded soon.
Hajj flight operation will start from August 27 and will continue till September 28.
Each successful Hajj pilgrim should reach their nearest Haji camp three days prior to their flight for training and vaccination.
