Security beefed up at Balochistan’s airports

Following the deadly attack on Karachi’s Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, security of all airports in Balochistan has been beefed up on Monday.

An official of the Quetta International Airport said that the airport’s security plan has been revised with additional deployment of the Airport Security Force personnel.

He said that vehicles and pedestrians were only being allowed to enter the airport premises after checking.

He said that the flights to and from Karachi were suspended while flight operations to other cities are continuing as scheduled.

According to reports, additional security measures were put in place at and around Gwadar, Turbat and Zhob airports to avoid any untoward incident.
