Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal Sunday said the country needed “economic long march” and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) government was making efforts to put it on path of speedy development.
Talking to a private news channel, the Minister said the government has a clear agenda for achieving economic progress in all fields.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership should concentrate on development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and PTI government should focuses on its party manifesto, instead of criticizing to others.
The minister said that processions would not decide the future of the country, adding PTI leadership should have to choose the right forum to discus the matters and Parliament was the best forum in this regard.
To a question, he said that Neelum Jehlum project agreement had been signed before his party government.
Ahsan said that Imran Khan and his party wanted to create unrest in the country but he could not succeeded, adding people were fully aware of PTI politics now.
He said that PML-N government and its leadership had moved the country on right direction and some elements wanted to derail the country from this path.
