Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif paid accolades to the martyrs who laid down their lives fighting terrorists in a brazen late-night attack on the country’s largest airport.
Ten terrorists laced with automatic weapons, grenades, suicide jackets and rocket launchers breached the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, Karachi on Sunday night which resulted in 12 martyrs, including seven Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel, one ranger, one policeman and one employee each from the Civil Aviation Authority and the Pakistan International Airlines.
According to details, 23 people were injured in the attack and ensuing operation, out of which three are in serious condition.
