Govt heading in right direction: PML-N leader

Khan says energy crisis on top it is priority of govt to address energy crisis.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan has said today’s Pakistan is much stronger than that of the past because of the right policies of incumbent government.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said it is the top priority of the government to address the issue of energy crisis.

He said job creation is linked with the industries and we hope that many new job opportunities would be created.

He went on to say that government has increased fund of Higher Education Commission, which would be very beneficial for the students.

“This year we would increase the amount for National Income Support Programme from Rs75 billion to Rs118 billion,” he said.

PML-N leader Dr Jamal Nasir said for the first time budget deficit has decreased which is a great change.

He added that poor, laborers, farmers, government employees and pensioners have been specially treated in this budget.

He said government has formed a commission on tax reforms and in response to its recommendations people would be facilitated.

Responding to a question, he said PM Nawaz Sharif provided opportunity to local parties of Baluchistan to form the provincial government.

He said that we all should be united for the development of the country and political parties should play their role in this regard.
