A few days ago, while surfing on internet I found a Facebook page in the name of the Chief Secretary, Sindh, Mr Sajjad Saleem Hotiana (www.facebook.com/Sajjad.Hotiana).
Lot of interesting material was posted on his Facebook page, especially in the “About” section in which he wrote he lost his Chief Secretary job of Gilgit-Baltistan because of using Facebook as the Chief Minister of that time Mr Mehdi Shah warned him again and again not to use Facebook account.
Nevertheless, the most important part of his Facebook page was his introduction line in which he wrote and I quote “A Chief Secretary using social media to reach & redress public grievances. Send messages for improvement in governance and accountability, 100% answered by CS.”
Getting impressed from the above introduction line, I also submitted my complaint pertaining to a public issue with the hope that he would take notice or immediately reply as claimed, but unhappily even after one week, I did not get any reply from his side.
I keep visiting his Facebook page and realised that out of 32,000 members he did not reply any one of them although people had sent him thousands of complaints. On the other hand, I noticed that on a daily basis he was uploading his family pictures, interviews to media and unofficial activities, including his recent visit to Lyari, obviously to get publicity.
Since the chief secretary wrote that that account was created to redress the public grievances, improvement in governance and accountability, I sent another message to the chief secretary, in which I wrote:
“Respected sir, I am sorry to say this Facebook page looks more as a ‘publicity stunt’ instead of resolving public grievances or improving governance/accountability as mentioned. So far, I have not seen any single reply/comment from the chief secretary on any complaint with the comments like “Your problem has been resolved or I took notice of your issue” that may support my justification. I can only pray in this situation and hope someone will resolve public issues in a realistic way.”
The people/visitors started to “Like” my post on the chief secretary’s Facebook page. I also received various appreciations and positive comments on my post.
But to my surprise within few hours, the chief secretary Sindh not only deleted my post, including those of the similar type by others, but also blocked me from his Facebook page.
May I ask the chief secretary Sindh why is there so much difference between what he claims and what he delivers?

No you do not deserve to know from the CS. Start of your story was interesting. It did not surprise this senior citizen that what the Chief Secretary claims himself on Facebook or wishes to portrays himself in reality is different as you claim yet in my opinion you don't deserve any "liking" comments or praise from me or any concerned citizen. You criticise that CS removed your remarks on his page within hours but you are also of the same mentality as you do not have the courage and conscious to give you correct name rather take shelter "A facebook user". Your writing as in the beginning interested me at the made me think I wasted my time in reading a foolish piece.
Exactly the same thing happened to me when he had just started his profile and page. I was blocked and my comments deleted
