Brace yourself for sweltering hot weather!

Pakistan continues to experience a heat wave with temperatures rising across the country.

The temperature in several cities of Punjab including Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad was recorded at 45 degrees Celsius.

Residents of Sindh are also experiencing a sharp rise in the mercury level with the 48 degrees Celsius recorded in Mohenjo Daro. People in Karachi and other cities of the province have increased their intake of cold drinks to help deal with the impact of the heat wave.

Moreover, the Met Office has also forecasted a dry and hot weather for Quetta. The maximum temperature is likely from 33 to 36 degrees Celsius and the lowest from 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. Very hot and dry weather has been forecast for rest of the region.

Moreover in Multan, the local Met Office has forecast hot and dry weather with chances of dust raising winds for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.

On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 45.2 degrees Celsius and 29.5 degrees Celsius respectively. The humidity was recorded 44 percent at 8am and 18 percent at 5pm.
