PM lauds efforts of outgoing KSA envoy in further strengthening Pakistan-Saudia ties

Outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Dr Abdulaziz-Al-Ghadeer called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday.

The prime minister appreciated the efforts of Dr Al-Ghadeer in further strengthening the already close and fraternal bonds between the two countries. He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy close and fraternal relations that are marked by common perceptions on all issues of mutual interest at regional and international level.

The prime minister further said that the two countries have always stood by each other in testing times and the people of Pakistan deeply value their relations with the SaudiKingdom. He, however, added that there was a need to further enhance bilateral trade commensurate with the strong fraternal bonds that existed between the two countries.

The prime minister maintained that the large Pakistani community, about 1.5 million, in Saudi Arabia was a human bridge between the two brotherly countries and they had been playing an important role in the development and prosperity of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
