LG pledges to continue pioneering sustainable environment practices

Discussions on sustainability and climate change continue to be hot topics in the UAE and abroad. In line with governments around the world commitment to reducing the impact on the environment, LG Electronics (LG) has pledged to continue developing its key business sec-tors to help make the consumer home more environmentally friendly. Celebrating the 42ndWorld Envi-ronment Day, LG has stood by its energy saving product designs that are not only good for the planet but good for wallets as they help cut energy cost while making homes and companies more energy efficient. Not to be outdone by the energy savings from their consumers, LG has also committed to making their company a beacon for sustainable enterprise. Emissions from the use of their products was cut 38 mil-lion tons in 2013, exceeding the company’s target to reduce emissions from the use of LG products by 30 million tons in a year.
