The US citizens have been warned to exercise caution in view of the ongoing demonstrations in Karachi after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain was arrested in London on money laundering charges.
The US Consulate in Karachi issued travel advisory for its citizens in the city to limit their movements to the minimum.
According to BBC, demonstrations are feared to continue in Sindh over Altaf’s arrest in London; hence, the US citizens have been directed to ensure their protection and safety.
