Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has directed for action and registration of a first information report (FIR) against plainclothes guards operating illegally in the province.

The CM took notice of presence of illegal security guards in private vehicles, instead of police or Rangers officials.

He directed the Sindh home secretary, Rangers DG and inspector general to initiate action against owners of such vehicles and plainclothes guards in the province.

The chief minister said such guards were becoming a symbol of terror among citizens and raising level of insecurity among them.

The provincial government would not tolerate any such happenings in Sindh and all these elements will strictly be dealt under law, warned the CM.
