The government allocated Rs 240 million for Statistics Division projects in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the year 2014-15.
According to the budgetary document released here Tuesday, of the total allocations, Rs 20 million have been allocated for construction of office building for Statistics Division and its attached department in Islamabad.
Rs 50 million have been allocated for establishment of Statistics Training and Research Institute in Lahore. Similarly, Rs.150 million have been allocated for Pakistan social and living standard measurement survey, Islamabad (revised).
A new scheme was also introduced for Statistics Division and Rs 20 million have been allocated for re-basing of the National Accounts from 2005-06 to 2015-16.
