Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday played down Friday’s meeting between Dr Tahirul Qadri and Chaudhry Brothers in London.
“It is a waste of time to comment on Dr Qadri and Chaudhry Brothers. One can never enter the parliament while the other cannot become an opposition,” he said during a press briefing.
The minister said, “People holding meetings in London are political jobless. The remnants of Musharraf are trying to gather the clique of the former military ruler.”
Commenting on PTI chief, he said, “Imran Khan is moving around a cage, but he is afraid of entering it.”
To a question, the minister said, “Sheikh Rasheed is a ticket-less passenger who would be checked by Khawaja Saad Rafique.”
The information minister added that the government would decide on removal of former president Pervez Musharraf’s name from Exit Control List (ECL) after the court’s ruling.
