A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate has filed an application for recounting of votes after he lost the PP-107 by-elections.
PML-N’s Sarfaraz Bhatti lost the elections in Punjab’s PP-107 constituency in Pindi Bhattian and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Nighat Intisar was declared the winner.
The constituency’s by-election was the focus of reporters’ attention due to rigging allegations from both sides and scuffles between the workers of PML-N and PTI on polling day.
