A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft crashed into a cargo van at Jinnah international Airport on Saturday.
The crash occurred shortly after the PIA Airbus coming from Saudi Arabia landed at the airport.
According to reports, the van crashed into the aircraft due to over speeding.
The aircraft was damaged due to the collision and was grounded for repair work.
A PIA spokesman denied the grounding of the aircraft, adding that flight schedules were not affected by the incident. He said that after maintenance work, the aircraft was sent to Mumbai (flight PK-274).
It should be noted that two such incidents have already taken place at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.
