The parking and movement of vehicles on Murree’s Mall continues despite a ban on the entry of automobiles on the road which is crowded by the tourists from morning until late night.
The Mall is giving a look more of parking place than some tourist attraction, which is not only creating troubles for the tourists but also marring the beauty of the historic place.
The tourists also expressed concerns over the situation, saying that boards announcing ‘no entry zone for vehicles’ are installed at various places but the cars and other automobiles are plying on the road nevertheless and they could not enjoy their visit for which they spend lots of money. They said that the situation puts a question mark on the performance of the law enforcers.
Anwar Shah, a tourist hailing from Rahim Yar Khan, said that he he was disappointed to witness chaos in the city, especially on the famous The Mall. He opined that the officials responsible should ensure implementation of rules and regulation, and take strict action against the motorists found violating the ban.
