Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday chaired a high-level meeting to discuss issues pertaining to national security.
According to sources, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General (DG) Lt Gen Zaheerul Islam and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and other high officials attended the meeting.
Sources said that country’s overall security situation, Taliban talks and premier’s recent meeting with new Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi came under discussion.
