Sindh mourns killing of JSMM leader’s killing

A shutter-down strike was observed in Warah and Naseerabad towns in the interior of Sindh against the killing of Munir Choliani, a leader of Jiye Sindh Muttahida Mahaz.

Choliani was kidnapped along with his wife, daughter and driver on Thursday, while he was travelling to Sehwan. His wife and daughter were released by the kidnappers later.

The body was found from Hotak area of Sehwan on Friday. He was shot dead. His funeral prayers were offered at his native town Warah in Larkana District. A large number of the party workers and leaders and local people attended his funeral prayers.

Deceased JSMM leader will be laid to rest at Sann graveyard near the last abode of GM Syed.

Earlier, the bodies of JSMM central vice president Qurban Khawar and central leader Noorullah Tunio were found near Sanghar. Their charred bodies were found in a burnt car.

The JSMM has announced 10 days mourning after the killing incident.
