Sindh Food Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Friday said that the provincial government will present a people- friendly budget for financial year 2014-15 to provide relief to all segments of the society.
Talking to different delegations, he said a substantial amount was proposed for development work in upcoming budget while education, health, law and order and creation of employment opportunities would be priority areas. Dahar said that initiatives aimed at protection of human rights and women’s right were also given special attention in upcoming budget and recommendations of all departments have been finalised. He said that the government was cognizant of law and order situation and it was taking every step to enforce and strengthen police and other law enforcers to curb crime. He said that the government was aware of issues faced by people and it was striving to resolve them.
