Heat wave kills two children

Two children were killed in Dadu whereas dozens of others are suffering from diarrhoea due to the ongoing heat wave in Sindh.

The mercury hit 50 degrees Celsius in Jacobabad whereas Larkana and Dadu are simmering at 49 degrees.

“There is no electricity and the city is simmering in the heat wave”, citizens said.

The summers have made life miserable for the people in southern Punjab and interior Sindh where people do not have even basic facilities including adequate potable water.
