The Supreme Court (SC) has reserved judgement in the National Police Foundation (NPF) Rs 600 billion scandal.

Justice Ejaz Chaudhry said, “As per report plots were allotted to Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf as president and army chief. Plots were allotted to Moin Haider and many other officers. Double allotment was made. We will take action against the persons who have told lie in preparing list. This scheme was meant only for police department employees and plots from this scheme could not be allotted to general public. We cannot overlook distribution of plots at free will. If there is a second list then the court be told too. Reply on double allotment made to army personnel and benefit provided to other persons be given to the court.”
A three-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Nasirul Mulk took up the case for hearing on Thursday.
