CDA auctions 20 residential plots

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has auctioned 20 residential plots located in various developed sectors of Islamabad worth Rs.1.35 billion on the first day of auction process.

Eight member committee headed by Member Environment, Mustafain Kazmi is supervising the auction process. Director General Administration, Deputy Director General Law, Deputy Financial Advisor, Director Urban Planning, Director Estate Management-I (East and West), Director Estate Management-II and Director Public Relations are the members of the committee.

The first day of the auction process was attended by a large number of people who enthusiastically participated in the auction process to get their favourite plots.

CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal while expressing his pleasure over transparent and successful auction of residential plots on the first day of the auction process said that the income from the auction of residential plots will be spent on development of various sectors of Islamabad.

He added that the vacant and un-soled plots in different developed sectors were being used as lawns and green areas illegally by different people by encroaching CDA land.
