ISLAMABAD-
An explosive device weighing 2.5 kilograms was recovered from an under-construction building in the in Islamabad on Thursday, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, upon receiving information of the presence of an explosive device in the area near Bari Imam, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) rushed to the site and defused the bomb.
Police sources say that the bomb had been discovered before going off.
The timely action by the law enforcers and BDS foiled an attempt of terrorism in the federal capital,
they added.
