Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFS&R) Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences (YAAS) Yunnan Province, The People’s Republic of China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at here PARC Headquarters to promote the development oriented scientific research in the field of agriculture, and to strengthen partnership between two countries. The MoU will facilitate further collaboration between both countries in the activities based on their respective academic and technical needs and other priorities. It will enable the representative agencies, PARC and YAAS, jointly to develop (i) organization of joint collaborative research programs on themes of mutual interest; (ii) organization of joint academic activities such as training courses, seminars, workshops and conferences; (iii) exchange of scientists, research scholars and students; (iv) exchange of research and scientific materials, publications and information; and (v) exchange of cooperation deemed appropriate by both institutions.
