CM hails sacrifices of Pakistan Army

*Royal College of Defense Studies Britain delegation meets CM

Pakistan is facing serious challenges including terrorism and shortage of electricity, said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday while talking to an eighteen member delegation of the Royal College of Defense Studies Britain.

He said that Pakistan has lost 40,000 precious lives including that of Pak Army, police and politicians and all segments of the society have given sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

He said that the whole nation is on one page with regard to elimination of terrorism and restoration of peace, adding that terrorism can be rooted out through promotion of education and socio-economic measures.

He said that the armed forces of Pakistan have rendered glorious services in the defense of the country and the whole nation is proud of courage and professionalism of its forces.

He said that the Royal College of Defense Studies of Britain is playing an important role in the training of army officers of different countries including Pakistan.

The delegation was led by Lieutenant General (r) Sir David Robert Bill and included army officers of different countries.
