Two arrested for PPP leader’s killing

The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) has arrested two persons, including a woman, involved in the killing of a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Farhan Sheikh, son of Amanullah Sheikh, submitted an application with Kohsar police station saying that his uncle Sheikh Mansoor Ahmed, PPP Human Rights Cell Secretary General, was shifted to PIMS hospital after Awais Ahmed and his accomplices attacked him on January 28. The PPP leader had succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Kohsar police registered the case under Section 302/34 PPC and CIA was assigned to investigate this case.
