After unscheduled load shedding in different areas of Karachi, K-Electric (KE) spokesperson revealed that all grid stations had been restored.
According to KE spokesperson, the EHT line tripped last night due to extra moisture in the air. And as a result, electricity supply from nine grid stations was affected. But now the KE has fixed the issue and all the grid have been restored. Recently, the company was criticised for launching coal power plant projects that may harm the environment of the city. However, the KE clarified the rumours by publishing the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) report that suggests that the KE is taking all the precautionary measures and everything is up to environmental safety standards.
The K-Electric was formerly known as the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).
