Chief Minsiter Syed Qaim Ali Shah announced formation of a new administrative division with headquarters at Nawabshah during his visit to Naushehro Feroze on Saturday.
The new division will comprise districts Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar and Naushehro Feroze. It is expected that notification in this regard would be issued on Monday.
Earlier, former president Asif Ali Zardario, accompanied by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, arrived the other morning at Nawabshah Airport from where they left for Naushehro Feroze by a helicopter. Earlier, Nawabshah had remained part of Hyderabad division and it was given status of district in 1912.
