ISLAMABAD-
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will attend the oath taking ceremony of Indian Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi to be held on Monday.
According to the spokesperson of Prime Minister House, Nawaz Sharif will proceed to New Delhi to represent Pakistan in the ceremony.
The occasion will provide an opportunity to devise a strategy for moving forward towards bringing peace to the region and normalize ties with India for which Pakistan has always expressed determination and resolve.
It is pertinent to mention that Indian Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi had officially invited Nawaz Sharif to attend the ceremony.
