A woman anti-polio worker and her escort were assaulted in AllamaIqbalTown and were also restrained from administering polio-drops to children at a house.
The woman volunteer, Yasmeen Shaukat, accompanied by her colleague was assaulted by male head of a household, who also broke all the medicine vales, besides snatching the Yasmeen’s bag.
The chief minister has taken notice of the incident and demanded an enquiry report at earliest.
