Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suffered a “massive defeat” in the PP-136 Narowal constituency by-elections, a private news channel reported.

Speaking to media outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sanaullah said that PTI will face defeat in the by elections at Hafizabad on 29th May as well.

Shujaat Khan of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) defeated PTI’s Khan Manj in the by-polls at Narowal.

“Rigging and election losses have fallen in love with PTI”, Sanaullah said.

While commenting on the PTI rallies against rigging, the provincial law minister said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan is heading towards Faisalabad for a “flop show” after his Islamabad anti rigging protest failed miserably.

“Opposition parties in Punjab Assembly have nothing to do than creating ruckus in the house”, he said. “The manuscripts of the laws are not read nor any amendments are suggested in it”, he added.

Rana Sanaullah added that the session of the house will continue till Wednesday for the completion of its 100 days.

“The decision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif attending the oath taking ceremony of India’s upcoming Premier Narendra Modi will be taken by the professional committee of the Foreign Office”, he said.
