Sindh Inspector General Iqbal Mehmood on Wednesday inaugurated the anti-measles campaign at Sindh Police Hospital Garden.
The campaign has been launched in connection with the anti-measles drive of the Sindh Government, said a statement.
Talking to reporters, he said that the arrangements have been made for vaccination of the children of police personnel but the people of the nearby areas can also bring their children for vaccination.
He said during the campaign the vaccination against 11 diseases, including measles will be performed.
Mehmood said that the police hospital is being developed on modern lines and the Sindh Government has also been requested in this regard.
He directed the Medical Superintendent of the Police Hospital to take all necessary steps for vaccination of children of the police personnel as well as those of adjacent localities.
