Though she made a late entry at the Cannes Film Festival, this year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan more than made up for her late arrival at the French Riviera.
The Bachchan bahu took to the Cannes red carpet on Sunday for the premiere of Two Days, One Night (Deux Jours, Une Nuit) and stunned all who saw her, with her golden avatar.
The Bollywood diva wore a gold-embellished Roberto Cavalli gown, which hugged her curves perfectly, and she looked gorgeous in it.
Her blown out voluminous hair and red pout made the look sheer perfection. As the gown was too glitzy, the former Miss World didn’t adorn herself with any jewellery, except for a gold bangle.
Meanwhile, it is reported that she will surprise her audiences in a never before seen avatar in her comeback film Jazbaa with some high octane scenes.
Rumours are rife that her character has been heavily inspired from Angelina Jolie’s role in Salt.
Angelina, who played the role of a Spy in Salt performed hardcore action scenes in the film.
Sources add that Aishwarya has already started a fitness regime to get into the skin of the character.
She is working hard to lose the excess pounds she gained during pregnancy.
