Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Tuesday that some media houses were using religion for their business purposes, a private news channel reported.
Speaking to media outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sanaullah said provocative remarks were harming journalism.
Rana alleged that Imran Khan had become a tool of non-democratic forces; however, he would not succeed in his efforts to come into power through shortcut.
He said legislation over Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) comes under jurisdiction of National Assembly, and not under the provincial assembly.
Moreover, Sanaullah said that all the national institutions believe in the constitution and democracy. He vowed to foil attempts to use these institutions for personal or group agenda.
