Sindh Chief Secretary Sajjad Saleem Hotiana has called upon the civil servants that they should strictly abide by the rules and regulations, including the quality of discipline and punctuality, while discharging their duties as no one is above the law.
The Sindh CS was hearing the cases of defaulters who misconduct in service affairs by remaining absent from job and through other demerits.
The service of Dr Ziauddin Kazi, BPS-18 senior medical officer (SMO), who remained absent for 3 years from 2011 to 2014 was terminated on the occasion in accordance with rules and government policy.
Four more officers were given last chance to finally appear in the next hearing.
Dr Zeenat who requested for transfer to Punjab was given a period of 3 months to obtain NOC from Punjab Government where his husband was working in similar capacity.
The officers who attended the meeting included additional secretary services Rafique Mustafa and director public relation to Chief Secretary Naukhaiz Anwar Siddiqui.
