An Imambargah custodian and another person was shot dead at Meethadar area of Karachi’s OldCity area, a private news channel reported on Monday.
According to sources, unidentified gunmen stormed an office at Meethadar and opened fire due to which two persons named Shoukat Sherazi and Qaisar Hussain died on the spot.
Shoukat Sherazi was the custodian of an Imambargah. He was also a member of Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan South wing.
Majlis e Wahdatul Muslimeeen (MWM) has announced countrywide protest against target killing on 23rd May.
Situation in Gulistan e Jauhar, Malir and Abul Hassan Isphahani Road became tense after the incident.
