Rawalpindi City Police Officer Humayun Basheer Tarar has expressed dissatisfaction on the progress of station house officers (SHOs) of all police stations and sent notices to six of them.
He directed the SPs of all three circles to take steps on emergency basis for controlling the crimes and give the report.
CPO expressed anger on the theft of cars and motorcycles and reprimand the officers present there in the meeting and said to SHOs that their progress is disappointing, everyday 4 to 5 cars and 6 to 7 bikes are robbed while people have been robbed by persons in uniform of Police in Civil line Police station and Airport Police station and Police took no action against them.
He said public is losing its confidence on Police and we have to do something for getting it back.
The Rawalpindi CPO warned the SHOs to improve their progress otherwise departmental action would be taken against them.
