Sit-ins are Imran Khan’s bread and butter: Saad Rafiq

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan only knows how to stage sit-ins, a private TV channel reported on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters at Railway Headquarters, the minister said it is the business of PTI Chairman Imran Khan to stage sit-ins. He added that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won the 2013 general elections due to their performance. The railways minister further said that the financial deficit in the railway sector is declining. He also said that his sector generated more than Rs 5.27 billion of revenue compared to last year.
The minister claimed that a new train service from Attock to Jand will be launched soon whereas many stops of Tezgam, which runs from Karachi to Rawalpindi, have been finished.
He claimed that the ministry is planning to provide food to passengers traveling in Karachi to Lahore trains. He added that new air conditioned bogies will be included in four trains that run from Lahore to Rawalpindi.
