PBC announces to boycott courts to protest against GEO
Punjab Bar Council (PBC) has called for exemplary punishment for Mir Shakil ur Rehman, Shaista Lodhi, Veena Malik and her spouse.
The PBC chairman announced that the sentiments of the entire nation were hurt by airing blasphemous program on the GEO.
Upon it the PBC asks the reporters and cameramen of the GEO not to enter into the courts in future, he added.
“We boycott all the channels of the GEO TV,” he declared.
The PBC has demanded of the government to take stern action against Mir Shakilur Rehman, Shaista Lodhi and her entire team, Veena Malik and her husband and warned that if the government takes no action in this connection then the lawyers will move the courts on their own.
The PBC has also announced to boycott the courts on Monday against the GEO.

A Gujranwala judge has approved a petition against the Jang and Geo group for hearing, news channel reported on Saturday.
Gujranwala additional sessions judge approved a petition against the Geo for hearing and summoned Mir Shakilur Rehman, programme host Shaista Lodhi, Actress Veena Malik and her husband Asad Bashir Khattak for hearing on May 29, 2014.
