Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan and Japan enjoyed close friendly relations and there was a wide scope to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
The chief minister was talking to Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata in the city on Friday.
Matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and prospects of cooperation in different sectors were discussed during the meeting.
Shahbaz said the provincial government will extend Skill Development Program to all the 36 districts of the province while training has already been provided to 40,000 youth.
The Japanese ambassador showed interest in cooperation in different sectors including skilled education.
