The last visit he made was to Iran from May 11 to 13.
Former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani made 18 state visits during his tenure of four years and three months, while his successor, Raja Pervez Ashraf, went on six foreign tours in nine months.
On Thursday, Sharif arrived at the National Assembly after a gap of around three-and-a-half months.
