Two Rangers personnel were shot dead in an attack on their check post at Bhitai Colony near Tangwani on Wednesday.
Police said that the assailants fired at the officials who were deployed for the protection of gas pipeline. The attackers managed to flee from the scene.
Police cordoned off the area and started a search operation for the accused.
