Ten suspected terrorists were killed when an unmanned aircraft fired missiles in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border area on Wednesday, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, three missiles were fired by the drone and targeted suspected militants in Nazyan area of Khyber Agency.
The exact location of the attack could not be confirmed as media persons were barred from accessing the area.
There were reports of clashes going on between Afghan Taliban and Lashkar e Islam since a long time.
The last drone attack took place on December 26, 2013, killing four suspected militants near Miranshah in North Waziristan area.
The United States had cut back sharply on drone strikes in Pakistan after the PML-N government asked for restraint while it is holding peace talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
