At least nine people were killed in rain-caused incidents across Punjab on Monday night.
As per details, two women died after a wall fell on them at the KamalabadCemetery. Another 17 people were injured in other incidents.
In Arifwala, two farmers, Umair and Sajid, were killed after being struck by lightning. Two young men fell victims to lightening in Kahuta. Also, lightening struck Bhakkar again, killing one and wounding three.
A student died of electrocution during heavy rainfall in Khoshab.
According to the Meteorological Department office, more rainfall and windstorm is expected in different cities of Punjab in the coming days.
